The reason I changed rating from 5* to 1* ( I was buying umbrella policy): The agent was very nice and premium was great. Then problems started. Got a request to make some changes to my auto policy. Did it. Got a request to get a letter my from auto insurance to verify that my wife was not a driver. Ok, no problem. Then I got a cancellation notice for the policy and a refund check for 2/3 of what I paid (paid - Feb 1, refund - March 3). Called agency, they said not to worry, they will take care of it. Finally got a contract, but with premium $688 instead of original $390! Looks to me like a classic bait and switch. I cancelled the deal and will never do business with the State Farm again."
